GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) ANALYST


CleanArc Data Centers is seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to join the CleanArc Acquisitions Team. The position will be one of few, select employees, that will play a key role in developing a highly complex centralized company platform to retain, analyze, and communicate information impacting every phase of our development cycle. This is an opportunity for creative and disciplined individuals to build an enterprise level platform from the ground up. Critical to the position is knowledge on integrating third-party platform data, automated data mining, AI analysis functions, interactive dashboards, and ESRI applications for company users to interact and manipulate datasets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate information sharing, analysis, and decision making through a geospatial information system (GIS).
• Collaborate in the development of advanced custom mapping interfaces and transform data to/from GIS formats.
• Integrate GIS with disparate business systems to provide a unified view of data.
• Perform customized analysis to support programs in development suitability, infra convergence, dataset comparison analysis, and market planning,
• Provide site planning analysis related to campus development and market prospect planning in support of future site growth.
• Create comprehensive critical infrastructure maps.
• Maintain datasets and deploy standardized methods to standardize future maintenance to ensure data reliability.
• Develop and implement applications, dashboards, and standardized map sets for internal and external users. Administration of CleanArc ESRI program.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Land/Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic principles of cartography and graphic design, with demonstrated skills in digital cartography and geographic visualization.
• Experience in creating organizational ESRI program.
• Ability to execute complex desktop GIS analyses.
• Experience with the Esri ArcGIS desktop, Autodesk AutoCAD and data ETL toolsets.
• Experience in incorporating 3D models from datasets sourced from AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD applications to analyze, illustrate, and create interactive ESRI applications.
• Proficient interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate as part of a cohesive team. Working with multiple customers and organizations simultaneously with time constraints.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively draft documentation, present, and explain target application area information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Significant experience defining the needs and approach for desktop GIS analysis exercises including GIS principles, best practices, and advanced knowledge of Esri’s desktop software, such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ArcCatalog.
• Advanced enterprise GIS experience implementing Esri-based web/mobile apps, such as, ArcGIS Portal, Web App Developer, Field Maps and/or Survey123.
• Experience with programming and scripting languages specific to GIS development, web development, and data integration via web services (e.g., Python, XML, JSON, GeoJSON, JavaScript Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, & Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of GIS sensor data processing and developing derivative datasets from LiDAR or GPS surveys.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
If not based in the Las Vegas area, then periodic travel is expected when required or
directed by supervisor.
