April 11, 2023 [HOUSTON, TX] – CleanArc Data Centers (“CleanArc”), a company changing the future of data center power by bridging clean energy with best-in-class data centers, is pleased to announce that John Day has joined the company as Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr. Day is a data center executive with a track record of driving sales and business development for emerging and established data center owners. Throughout his nearly three-decade career, which has spanned technology sales, M&A, capital formation and real estate, Mr. Day has specialized in growing businesses and identifying and solving the needs of his customers. Prior to joining CleanArc, Mr. Day held sales and business development roles at QTS Data Centers and Sabey Data Center Properties.
Mr. Day has sourced or managed nearly 120 MW of colocation, build-to-suit, and powered shell transactions with leading enterprises, including hyperscale and cloud, financial services, content and gaming companies, and government contractors. He has also advised numerous banks and investors such as UBS and Legacy Investing on data center trends and opportunities.

CleanArc has ramped its hiring efforts following 547 Energy’s equity investment in the company and its vision to solve the current and future needs of the world’s largest data center customers by bundling new data center campuses with innovative clean energy contract structures that approach zero carbon emissions. Mr. Day joins CleanArc’s SVP of Energy & Power Contracting Bill Thomas and existing acquisitions, program management and design leads John Cordisco, Marc Hourican and Christopher Oertel, as well as new business and energy operations team members Chris Freitag and Nick Varberg. In January, CleanArc announced that Lindsey Bruner had joined the team as Chief Operating Officer.
