With a background in mathematics and software analytics, Nick is responsible for designing automated analyses that demonstrate cost-effective and lower-risk procurement strategies of Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs) to meet CleanArc’s hyperscale data center customers’ demand with renewable energy.

Prior to joining CleanArc, Nick served as an Energy Analyst at cQuant.io, a cloud-based energy analytics platform. At cQuant.io, Nick helped write software solutions for energy portfolio management, hedging, VPPA procurement and carbon abatement. Nick also consulted with clients on their evaluation of renewable energy RFP responses and risk management strategies.

Nick holds a BS in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Wheaton College, Illinois and an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
